OUR CHURCH

 

Immanuel Lutheran Church was established in 1910.  Many of our members have had family members who have been a part of our congregation for generations!  We currently have over 200 members and have strong ties to our community.  Many of our members have leadership roles in the Akron area and we love the ties this creates between our church and community.

If you talk to our members, many will tell you one of the favorite things about the Sunday morning service is listening to our church choir.  The choir pews are normally filled to capacity and the passion our choir has for praising the Lord through music is definitely evident as you listen to them each week.

Immanuel takes pride in the youth programming we offer.  We offer Sunday School for ages 3-grade 12, as well as confirmation for grades 7 & 8.  You can find more information about these programs on our ministry page.  

 

Immanuel Lutheran is part of the Akron Area Vacation Bible School.  The event is held the first weekend in August and is sponsored by multiple churches in the Akron community. This event is held at Immanuel Lutheran & The Wesley United churches.
