WORSHIP & WEEKLY ACTIVITIES

 

We have all heard the old Sunday School verse, "Here is the Church, Here is the steeple, Open the door and see all the people."  The doors of Immanuel are always open and there are many activities offered throughout the week.  

Saturdays

9 a.m. Sunday School

The 2nd Sunday of each month our Sunday School students in grades PS-6 will open our church service with singing.  A children's sermon puppet show will be provided each of these Sundays.

10:15 a.m. Worship Service

*Easter service will be held at 8:00 am on March 31.
 

Wednesdays

6 p.m. Confirmation

**Note - During Lent, Confirmation class will meet at 6:20.  Confirmands are asked to attend the Lenton service following class.  This schedule will begin with the Ash Wednesday service on Wednesday, February 14 and will conclude on Wednesday, March 27

 

7 p.m Choir Practice

**Note - During Lent, Choir practice will be held following the Lenton service on Wednesday evenings.  This change will take place Wednesdays, February 14-March 27.

Forms to donate Easter Lilly's can be found in the newsletter or in the sanctuary.  Forms can be turned into Marge Lucken.
Maundy Thursday/First Communion
Thursday, March 28-7:00 pm
Congratulations to those who will be receiving their first communion during the Maundy Thursday service.  Recipients include: Emilia DeVos, Sydney Edwards, Cole St. Pierre, Nora Mathistad, Reese Harris, & Layne Dumas
Easter Service
Sunday, March 31- 8:00 am
Join us for the Easter Breakfast served by 3rd & Main Youth Group following the Easter service.
Service Opportunities
The Sunday School students will be collecting deodorant sticks through March 31 to be donated to the Akron-Westfield School nurse's office.
